Release Candidate 2 is now available for LR customers, and we expect Steam to be available within 24 hours or so.

This is a very small patch with a few minor fixes. At the risk of sounding like a broken record: if you haven’t tried your add on aircraft in 11.40 yet…do it now! The reports have been pretty quiet the last couple weeks, and nobody enjoys a last minute surprise bug.

Release notes here.

      1. Sorry bad cut and paste.

There is a Vive Cosmos – Windows.joy file in the Resources/joystick configs folder.

  1. Good day thanks for the updates. Is it possible to implement a update for window save positions. Being a home cockpit builder the views of the outside views on my three screens work beautifully. Is it possible to save the popped out g1000 screens to its past position. Also stand gauges. This works great with the basic g1000 but not with screens where developers have added things such as synthetic vision or add custom engine parameter art on the g1000. I am using the aerobask da62. This would be fantastic!

    Thank you

    1. Since the customized G1000 windows are drawn by the plugin of the airplane, not by X-Plane, you need to ask the developer of the airplane to implement saving window positions.

      1. On the topic of the G1000, is it planned to fix the FMS alphanumeric keypad commands not working for data entry? i.e. ‘sim/FMS/key_A’ , ‘sim/FMS/key_B’ etc

Such that, the Garmin FMS controller keypads can be implemented, found in G1000 equipped Cirrus, Kingairs and biz jets.

  2. Now that we have 11.40 in our rear view mirror — any notion of when the 11.50 beta will be ready for the teaming masses? This will settle a LOT of speculation! 😉

      1. LOFL. Perfect…. but non-commital as I should expect. I appreciate it, Ben, thanks! Keep on doing that thing you do, but I hope Austin is allowing you _at least_ an hour or two off before launching the long awaited first Vulkan beta!

          1. I knew it was to good to be true to go from 11.40 to 11.50.

Looking forward to testing my plugins in 11.50 with Vulkan as soon as that is possible.

          2. For many years I’ve needed a clone to take care of all of my other projects while I too, am working on my X-Plane code. If I ever find a good source for same, I’ll be sure to share with you! I feel your pain. With all the smiles Vulkan brings, I’m sure there will be no shortage of new bugs. Job security. Hah! But life…and keystrokes…moves on. Hang in there!

          3. Hereby I confirm that x-Plane 11.40 is well and truely bug-free. Having said that, beta 11.50 shall begin here and now 🙂
